Yemaya Dance |
||||
As the Yoruban goddess of the ocean, Yemaya is the ancient mother of all things. We begin life in the waters of our mother's womb. We dance Yemaya in gratitude for life. Traditionally, as people in ceremony make offerings to Yemaya, their troubles and prayers dissolve in her magical waters. It feels especially appropriate during these times of earth changes, that we honor and communicate our desire to live in balance with the natural world.
